i know you live in the new york city area and so do i. i wanted to mention just to the west of new york city. so the national weather service has issued a winter storm watch for areas just to the west, and that does include parts of northeast new jersey, the lower hudson valley and southwest connecticut and some of these areas are forecast to get as much as 6 to even 10 inches of snow. that's pretty incredible. so the storm system will be something to watch closely. today impacting parts of the midwest and we could see snowfall accumulation out there. the problem across the midwest during the daytime hours today is that we are going to see warmer temperatures rising just above freezing. so freezing rain can mix in with that. sleet along with rain. that could be producing a bit of a mess and limiting snowfall totals. as we head into saturday, saturday overnight and into sunday morning, that snow will be coming down across parts of the northeast and into sections of new england. how much snow? winter weather advisories and center storm watc
